I think everyone knows a teacher in their life (or two or three). If you are struggling with what to give them this year, try one of these ideas.

I personally REALLY like this one. If you are a baker, you could just
fill this with your homemade cookies and/or candies.
I like this idea. Put a couple of "life items" she/he might need
throughout the school year (like cough drops, Tide pen, Crystal Lite packets).
You can even personalize it with his/her name/initial/monogram!
Once they are empty, they can be used in all sorts of ways.
1. You can put you hair accessories in here
2. You can use it to keep a box of tissue and in the pockets - keep hand sanitizer.
3. You can keep markers and/or crayons in there as well.
